Some days R slow

Some days are slow and steady…that I’ve learned to go with. When it’s time to fly I’m ready, but there’s nothing wrong with walking every now and then. Today was a walking day.

Working with layers of watercolor is interesting. I find myself repeating the act of laying down washes and then taking them up. Of course altering what I take up and changing colors that I apply. Here is 1 out of 9 backgrounds. In between the slowness there is a lot of thinking and looking involved.
